Welcome to Lovey Dovey Doodles!
I'm Jessica and the sole proprietor of Lovey Dovey Doodles, an ethically responsible, small home-based breeding program committed to bettering the breed of designer cavapoos and goldendoodles. All of our dogs are pets first and foremost!

My husband, Jarod, and I live in northwest Kentucky and are passionate about our pups! We are dedicated to curating the finest companion cavapoos and micro goldendoodles through temperament, health, & genetic testing. If a prospective parent fails any testing, they are excluded from our breeding program.
Our puppy curriculum starts on the 3rd day of pup-life. It involves Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI), manding, early crate exposure, sound desensitization, safety recall, temperament testing, deworming & immunizations, and medical evaluations by a board certified veterinarian. I have taken an oath to guide, shape, and mold our puppies based upon critical learning periods, constantly assessing and adjusting, to strengthen canine confidence, nerve strength and startle recovery. The combined effect of our curriculum is intended to produce adaptive, cognitively enhanced, confident, resilient, long-lived doodles.
Our goal is to match you with the perfect, well adjusted pup based on your family's needs, experience, and activity level.

I have been a registered nurse for 25+ years; my education and experience grant me the knowledge to make evidence based medical decisions regarding my breeding program's robust health, testing, prevention, intervention, whelping and neonate care. I am a member of The Badass Breeder Association which prides itself on ethical canine breeding. I have attended canine genetic courses via Midwoofery.com.

What's a Cavapoo?
A Cavapoo is a crossbreed/ hybrid mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. Hybrids or designer breeds are healthier animals due to cross-breeding for desirable traits while eliminating undesirable genetically inherited diseases.
Cavapoos are known for their happy, gentle, loyal, quiet, empathetic, friendly and affectionate nature, making them great family pets. They are wonderful with children. Cavapoos are intelligent animals and easy to train. They are a terrific dog for the first-time owner. The low to no-shed coat makes them fantastic house companions. Coats range from straight, wavy, curly and kinky curly. We have one of every kind!

Cavapoos do require home grooming (brushing and combing) every couple of days to keep their coats mat free.

F1 Cavapoos are First Generation, meaning they are comprised of 50% Cavalier and 50% Poodle. F1B means the first generation Cavapoo has been bred to a poodle (25% Cavalier and 75% poodle). Multigeneration Cavapoo pups are the direct products of breeding two cavapoos.

Our cavapoos range in size from 11-15 pounds. These perfect lap-sized furbabies travel easily. Their small statures fit into pet carrier bags, which can be slipped under the in-cabin seats of airliners.
What's a Goldendoodle?
Fill a mystical bottle with energy, love, empathy, intelligence, steadfastness, and beauty. Cap it. Shake it. Now, you have the most adorable teddy-bearesque animal known as the Goldendoodle.
This designer hybrid breed is a mix between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, the best of both breeds...health, temperament, and intelligence. An F1 Goldendoodle is 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle. An F1B is the breeding of a F1 Goldendoodle to a Poodle (25% Golden Retreiver and 75% Poodle). A multigenerational goldendoodle results from the breeding of two goldendoodles. They resemble teddy bears and are no to low shed.

Our micro-mini goldendoodle dam weighs 14 pounds. Check her out in "Meet Our Moms." She has a straight coat, hazel eyes and a caramel nose. A very rare beauty indeed!
